As this is the first and only Museum of this kind in the city, potential visitors can learn much more about Sarajevo, because the museum offers a look into the past. A special technology, or access to information about exhibits in the museum via a mobile phone, which is present in London and Miami, allows a different experience of the museum. Visitors to the museum can thus see the oldest bottles of Sarajevo’s beer, the development of labels and inscriptions, various beer containers and many other exhibits dating back to the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy or the period of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia or the SFRY (Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). Also, you can see beers that are no longer produced such as Beer Beer, Trebevic Beer, Jahorina Beer and Beer Meteor. The museum setting shows not only the development of beer industry but also the entire brewing industry in B&H.
