Frankincense (olibanum, levona or al-lubān)
The English word is derived from Old French “franc encens” (i.e.,high quality incense).
Do not use Frankincense (olibanum, levona or al-lubān) if you use drinking blood thinners, or having a high blood pressure, you are pregnant and breastfeeding.
This aromatic resin is obtained from Boswellia wood, which grows throughout Africa and Asia. Frankincense or boswellia is one of the oldest known fragrances, traded from southern Arabia to the Mediterranean, while in Egypt it was used to mummy balm. We know it from church rituals (Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches), which is done by placing a piece of white aromatic resin on a live coal. Frankincense scent sticks can also be used. This ritual is done because it is believed that evil ghosts are being wiped out.
Frankincense (olibanum, levona or al-lubān) is used in aromatherapy, cosmetics, massage, healing and religious ceremonies. It is most commonly imported from India. The treatment uses inorganic resins that are collected throughout the year. Tinctures, oils, creams and nutritional supplements are made of the resin. You can buy the tincture of boswellia or make it yourself if you mix a resin with 80% of alcohol. You can buy Frankincense and miscellaneous preparations from this spice in herbal apothecaries and healthy food shops or order it online.
Edible or eatable Frankincense is transparent without black or brown dots. It is most commonly light yellowish with greenish color, and you chew it like a chewing gum. For oral use, it is used in capsules. Believers believe that little Jesus was incense-gifted and therefore we must not reject it. The millennial tradition of using Frankincense tells us in its favor.
Frankincense is the best resin to break the stone from the bile or kidneys.
Preparation: wrap a small piece of Frankincense in the middle of the bread and swallow it with water. It is important to keep in mind that Frankincense should not touch your teeth as it damages the dental glaze / enamel (you can also wrap a piece of Frankincense in a cigarette paper which you can buy in all Tobacco shops or empty capsules which you can buy in some pharmacies or chemical labs).
The Frankincense breaks the stones in the bile. After a couple of days or 2-3 weeks of Frankincense use, it is best to swallow Frankincense on written way (the best is to do it in the morning on an empty stomach) and after a few hours, eat the whole lemon (Lemon releases stones from bile or kidneys). Note: The process of throwing stones (by physiological needs) from the bile and kidneys can be very painful.
