Ships in World War II (Part IV)

The Soviet fleet was not without any omissions and weaknesses. It was reasonably designed to carry out its own tasks, not to surpass the reputation of other countries. The former Soviet fleet, today’s Russian fleet, is one of the largest naval fleets in the world. In the Second World War, a new military-naval phenomenon was created: naval navy from the National War against the conquerors. Until the beginning of the war 1941, the navy of the then Kingdom of Yugoslavia was a significant impact force composed of warships, seaplanes and other naval weapons. In its composition were the cruiser “Dalmatia” (command fleet), 4 destroyers, 14 torpedoes, 4 submarines, 11 miners and minopools, 2 torpedo boats, several auxiliary and school ships, 125 hydroships. Ships on different sides did not satisfy elemental typing. It did not work enough to adopt its own production. Years before the Second World War, the capitulation spirit and the petany warfare widened. After only 10 days of war, the Italians entered Split (today’s largest port in Croatia), two days later in Boka Kotorska (today’s Montenegro).

The entire royal fleet fell undone in Italian hands (except for the destroyer of Zagreb who was overthrown by officers Milan Spasić and Sergei Maser, and one submarine and two motor torpedoes who crossed the British fleet in the Mediterranean). The Partizan Navy, apart from the old canons and regiments, won under almost unbelievable conditions. The navy was made only by armed fishing boats, whose sailors were trained in battle. Propaganda in a society where things dominate people was not a creative spirit that reveals how to overcome an aggressor and get the war in his own. We need to look at the meaning of the Yugoslav National Liberation War when we put it in the context of a series of liberation wars and revolutions that changed the image of the world after the Second World War. They are on the stage of history for the first time in the role of subjects of hundreds and hundreds of millions of people until then only the objects of someone else’s policy, Gerilis warfare forced the Italian and German commandos to address the problem in war. The famous Italian document “Direttive della guerra contropartigiana sul mare” was published in 1942. The experiences of the Partisan war are now subject to study studies in certain special naval naval institutions. Since December 1942, the Navy of Yugoslavia has 10 people in 2 fishing boats, with more than 14,000 fighters, 16 armed ships, 58 patrol boats, 10 auxiliary ships and 12 motor rafts, and 214 shipping boats (parobrods, motor sailers and mopeds) ). The then Yugoslavia did not have to worry about its future. A guarantee for his own freedom and independence, Yugoslavia did not seek out the unity of equal peoples and nationalities, outside of their own strengths, which are on a steady growth. The technological range of the Navy is adapted to the narrow Adriatic Sea. Yugoslavia has produced its submarines and was one of the 11 countries in the world that produced their own submarines. The navy was co-operating with the Air Force and Territorial Defense. Whoever assesses the resistance of these forces, will keep a watchful eye on the occasional striking of the weapon on the side: we are not the frogs that the snake will stiffen with a single glance. This belief is enriched by the widespread knowledge of maritime affairs. The creative spirit wants to get acquainted with the military-naval technique.
