The AVNOJ Museum is located in the southern part of Jajce. Here, on November 29th and 30th 1943, the second session of the Antifascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia (AVNOJ) was held. Attended by 142 councillors, this gathering resulted in some of the most important decisions for the construction of Yugoslavia, which include declaring Yugoslavia a federal republic in which all nations are considered equal.
