Europe’s best movie recording locations

The ancient town of Zavrsje (region Istria, Croatia) is at the top of the list of the best European film and series locations. This small town located in the northern part of Istria, where the film ‘Robin Hood’ was directed by Otto Bathurst in the spring of 2017.
The competition for the best European location in the film and TV industry is launched for the third year in a row by the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN), in collaboration with the Cineuropa Film Portal. The list ends at the proposal of the Istria Film Commission, which is responsible for promoting Istria as a film destination within the Istrian Cultural Agency. This prestigious list includes Athens, Vilnius, Delphi Theater in Germany, Dorfulia in Northern Macedonia, the Spanish venue El Hierro, Luggal in Ireland, Lviv in Ukraine, the Italian venue Rocca Guidonesca di Rocchettine and Royal Brussels in Belgium.
Otherwise, voting on the pages of the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN) will last until 30 December.
