Young and green birch leaves and nettles for tea, drinks and face masks

With the warm sunshine and the spring months, nature awakens, the trees are green, the scent is everywhere, and all life seems to be waking from a long winter dream. During the winter, human metabolism was slower. With more sunny days coming, we need to use more apples and pulp-rich products. This will help us get rid of excess impurities accumulated in the winter months. Also, vitamin deficiency (avitaminosis) is more pronounced these months and it is necessary to nourish, moisturize and protect the skin of the face, neck and hand.
Green masks and face cleansing fluids:
Young green leaves of nettles and birch trees have always been used for cosmetic purposes. The acne and pimple face is best cleaned with freshly squeezed juniper juice (Lat. Tussilago).
The whitish mask leaves the skin tight, fresh and firmer. Squeeze the leaves of this plant and mix with honey (in equal amounts) to form a thick mixture. Apply the mixture on face and hold for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. If your skin is dry, apply a nourishing cream after using the mask.
Nettle: Use a nettle leaf mask for wrinkles and for dry skin. Squeeze the nettle leaves, and mix with liquid honey (in equal amounts). Keep the mask on your face for ten minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Dandelion: For the freckles on your face use milky juice from fresh dandelion. Grease freckles two to three times a day. Use the same preparation 4 or 5 times a day to remove (alleviate) pigment spots on the face. Mix finely chopped dandelion stalks with plain water. Wash your face with skin whitening liquid. Use young dandelion leaves when blackheads appear on the face. Finely chop five or six dandelion stalks and mix with two tablespoons of cow’s cheese. Put a mask on your face (suitable for a dry face) and hold for about ten minutes. Then rinse. For oily skin, finely chop two dandelion stalks and mix with one egg white. Masks will nourish, strengthen and soften the skin of the face.
On warm days we use more moisturizing and protective face creams (instead of oily creams suitable for winter conditions). 10 to 15 minutes of stay in the daylight is sufficient and desirable for each person. UV radiation is maximum up to 12 to 16 hours when long sun exposure should be avoided. Sunglasses are always a good choice because they protect against the effects of UV rays and the premature appearance of wrinkles around the eyes. For a mild tanned skin tone instead of sunbathing, toning face creams are a good choice.
Vitamin teas also help you cope with unwanted avitaminosis. It is useful for pomegranate, partridge (Lat. Sorbus aucuparia) and black currant berries. Finely chop the young branches of black currant and cook for seven to ten minutes in water. Pour 100 grams of young and green birch leaves with two cups of boiling water. This tea is sometimes aged for two to four hours. Strain. Drink a glass of up to two teas a day instead of water. The treasure trove of vitamins are teas made from cranberry leaves and berries, fir tree needles, jasmine bud (lat. Populusu tremula), nettle, lamb, berry, chicory root and wheat bran.

      Thank you very much, Dear Friend. I also myself like nettle tea, its a bit stronger than other types but its very helpful. I always feel much better after drinking some. I also use nettle cut in small pieces when cooking a bread or a leaf. All combinations are worth of trying. Wish you the best. Amela
