Banana peel healthy and useful as a banana

Nutritionists advise you to put banana peel in a blender when making your favorite beverage (smoothie, fruit yogurt, etc.) and to eat baked and cooked banana peel. Be sure that the bananas are organic, that is, they are not sprayed with chemicals and pesticides, because then the banana peel will be harmful to you and not useful.
How to identify organic farming on a label glued to fruit?
You must have noticed labels sticking to the fruit when buying bananas (oranges, lemons, etc.). The label contains a prominent company logo and sequence of numbers. This set of numbers contains important consumer information. GMP products are not labeled, but there is a trick to identify them among fruits and vegetables. Look for a product called PLU (Product Lookup Number) on the label. If the number is four-digit and starts with 3 or 4 then the product is NOT GMO but grown organically on an intensive basis (on a farm that uses chemicals and pesticides).
If the number on the label is a 5-digit number starting with 9 then we know that the fruits (vegetables) are organic or grown without chemicals, pesticides and genetic modification. A five-digit number starting with 8 is a sign of a genetically modified product grown unnaturally (using genetic modification).
Banana peel is rich in vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants that help reduce weight, regulate digestion, improve mood and improve the overall condition of the body. Banana peel contains vitamins B6 and B 12, magnesium, calcium, vitamins A and C and contains fiber and protein. Vitamin A helps maintain healthy teeth, bones and soft tissues.
