Emina Alagić, a 29-year-old self-taught painter from Sanski Most (Bosnia and Herzegovina), fell in love with art at an early age. In 2018, she began to transfer her desires, ideas and visions to the canvas. Constantly watching and absorbing art and every kind of art form, a desire was created to engage in this culture. She comes from a family that has an artistic code in her genes. Her unfulfilled wish was to enroll at the Academy of Arts and Painting in Sarajevo. She began by drawing graphics, portraits, analyzing the faces and anatomy of man, from a graphite pencil and charcoal to oil paints on canvas.

She considers portraits of female faces and nudes to be very beautiful things for inspiration for something bigger. Experimenting with abstract works and with the play of light, shadow, shape in the desire to dedicate herself to details in drawing and painting, using the Sfumato technique, she found the right way to express her style of painting. Sfumato in her paintings exudes melancholic notes and tones. He paints abstract nature and portraits, still life and nudes.
In a two-year time period of drawing and painting, Emina has attracted the attention of a couple of customers and even international art magazines.
In the future, he hopes to be invited to exhibitions and exhibitions of art, domestic and foreign:European and world. Purchased works that she made to order are currently in Norway, England and Slovenia, in addition to a modest number of customers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She strives for an international career and socializing with as many artists as possible and constantly creating new ones.
