-blood in the urine

Checking blood pressure and blood sugar
The two leading causes of kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure. Over time, excessive amounts of glucose in the blood damage millions of tiny filtration units inside each kidney. About 20-30% of people with diabetes develop kidney disease (diabetic nephropathy). High blood pressure can damage the small blood vessels in the kidneys. These vessels cannot properly filter the waste from the blood. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the blood sugar level and blood pressure as close as possible to normal amounts.
The key to a healthy diet is increased consumption of plant foods, while the consumption of refined and fatty (baked) food is reduced. A diet based on fruits and vegetables allows the body to alkalize through the kidneys, lowers blood pressure and contributes to a sense of well-being.
Reducing meat consumption
A diet rich in animal proteins can lead to the formation of kidney stones.m meat produces uric acid after being processed by the body. Uric acid is a basic problem for the formation of stones and gout.
Reducing salt intake
Excess salt leads to abnormal accumulation of calcium in the blood which in turn creates kidney stones. Sodium in salt can increase blood pressure. A person with chronic kidney disease should limit their intake of foods that contain high levels of sodium. Sodium intake should be moderate.
Don’t underestimate sweat
Saunas, yoga and heavier exercises are good for health but can be bad for the kidneys. Water loss through sweating leads to less urine production. More sweat means less urination which allows the kidney stone to settle. Instead, drink more water which leads to frequent urination. So you ingest plenty of fluids when you exercise. Water helps the kidneys expel toxins and prevent kidney stones and urinary tract infections. It is always better to drink frequent small amounts of water throughout the day.
Smoking increases the risk of developing kidney disease. It contributes to brain diseases and strokes and heart attacks in people with chronic inflammation of the kidneys.
Enough alcohol means that the kidneys have to work extra to flush toxins out of the blood. The limit is two smaller drinks a day for men and one small drink a day for women.
Caffeine acts as a diuretic causing the body to lose more fluid and the kidneys to work faster. Instead of plenty of caffeine, use decaffeinated green tea.
Exercise is an important element of optimal kidney health and overall well-being of the whole body. If you already have a kidney problem, avoid strenuous exercise.
Phosphorus and sodium intake should be done in moderation. It is best to listen to the advice of a doctor or nutritionist. Sometimes you enrich your diet with fish, white meat, eggs, milk and dairy products because these foods provide the amino acids needed by the body. Calcium and phosphorus are essential for the health of teeth and bones when the kidneys are functioning well. If you already have kidney problems too high a phosphorus level causes muscle and bone pain. Then limit certain foods (meat and nuts). Horseradish, celery, radishes and cranberry juice are the right dietary supplements for kidney disease. These foods contain substances that acidify the urine and make it difficult for bacteria to survive. If you have a kidney stone, drink at least 2 liters of fluid a day. By using a larger amount of fluid in the body, you dilute the urine and reduce the concentration of dangerous compounds. According to research, a vegetarian diet has been shown to be best for people with kidney stones and other kidney diseases. A vegetarian diet includes vegetables, fruits, whole grains and low-fat dairy products.
