White sugar can help in many situations when we do not have the right medicine on hand.
1. Mix cough-sugar and conifer resin in equal amounts. From the resulting mass, make pea-sized balls. Dry the balls. Take one ball three times a day after meals. The cough will ease a little. Put two tablespoons of sugar in the pan. Fry until the sugar has melted. Remove the pan from the stove. Add half a cup of boiling water. Children can drink a small spoonful of the resulting syrup during coughing and at bedtime. The daily dose is 4 to 5 teaspoons.
2. Low blood pressure (hypotension) – fill half a cup with sugar. Add boiling water to the top of the cup. Stir, drink in the morning two hours before meals.
3. Excretion of mucus (secretions from the throat) when coughing – cut eight heads of onion in half. Pour with a liter of boiling water and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Cook the mixture on low heat for two hours. Cool and strain. Keep refrigerated. Drink two tablespoons before meals.
4. In a bronchitis enamel bowl, mix a glass of cranberry juice with 300 grams of sugar. Bring to a boil. Drink one tablespoon 4x a day.
5. Ear pain (otitis) – mix one quarter of a tablespoon of sugar and one quarter of a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Heat the solution. Pip the drop ear into the sore ear. Close the ear with a cotton ball for 12 hours. Do this procedure once.
6. Poisoning – in case of food or alcohol poisoning, mix two small spoons of sugar with half a spoon of baking soda and half a spoon of lemon juice. Pour from half a liter of boiling water cooled to room temperature. Stir carefully. Drink quickly until you hear the whisper of the mixture (in case of gastritis, drink a tablespoon of vegetable oil beforehand).
7. For pain in the legs – dissolve a kilogram of sugar in 3 liters of boiling water. Cool the syrup. Soak your feet for half an hour. This jelly syrup can be used for seven days.
8. Wounds on the body – use powdered sugar to quickly heal wounds. Place a spoonful of sugar on a solid piece of paper. Using a spoon (there must not be an aluminum spoon), knead the sugar on the paper. Wash the fresh wound with clean water. Pour the obtained powder over the wound. Then wrap the wound with a bandage. Change the bandage often. If the bandage sticks to the wound — soak that bandage in warm boiling water.
9. Insect sting – put a sugar cube dipped in water on the place of the bee or wasp sting.
10. Diabetes – in case of diabetes, hypoglycemia (sudden drop in blood glucose) sometimes occurs. Then the patient should eat candy. In case of severe hypoglycaemia with loss of consciousness, place the patient on his side and immediately give him a sugar cube up to two sugar cubes. The sugar cubes will gradually reach the bloodstream, which will not completely eliminate glycemia, but will stop the further drop in blood glucose.
