Proper nutrition after chemotherapy

Principles of nutrition after chemotherapy:

  1. Breast cancer-in the diet should be represented by 10% -15% vegetable oils (unrefined, odorless, flaxseed or cold-pressed raspberry oil), up to 20% vegetable proteins (nuts, legumes and cereals), 70% -80% fresh fruits and vegetables. It is useful to combine green vegetables with cereals. Animal food, sugar, refined and canned products should be avoided.
  2. Ovarian cancer – various types of cabbage, lean sea fish, fresh green vegetables, carrots, pumpkin and especially beets are useful – it perfectly cleanses the blood.
  3. Lung cancer-it is recommended to eat more foods rich in protein (cottage cheese, nuts, poultry cooked in water or steamed). Amino acids from this type of food help the body to absorb useful substances more easily and strengthen the body.
  4. Stomach cancer-should eat frequent and small meals. You should eat food cooked in water or steam. Every bite should be chewed well. Naon chemotherapy should give up tomatoes, citrus, sweet and fatty products that return undigested to the esophagus, which causes nausea. It is recommended that salted and smoked products be eliminated from the diet, as well as rich meat and mushroom soups, marinated and canned foods, insufficiently ripe fruits and vegetables, coffee, strong teas, carbonated drinks and semi-finished products should also be eliminated.
    Oyster mushrooms expel chemical and radioactive substances from the body. It is necessary to use raw oyster mushrooms in salads. The daily amount is 450 grams. This type of mushroom should be eaten several times a week. Kombucha drink (tea mushroom) and kefir mushroom (kefir) contribute to the recovery of the gastrointestinal tract, clean blood vessels, ensure normal liver function, and expel heavy metals from the body. They are taken at a rate of 50 ml per 10 kg of body weight daily for 30 minutes before or after a meal for two weeks. After a break of seven days, the therapy is continued.
    Nuts – to establish energy balance in the body and strengthen the blood, a mixture is used: 20 grams to 25 grams of cashew nuts in the same amount with peanuts, almonds and hazelnuts. All fruits are ground in a blender and honey is added in a ratio of 1: 1. To this mixture is added 100 grams of butter and 100 grams of vegetable oil (prunes, raisins and dried apricots can be added). Take one tablespoon to two tablespoons twice a day. A break of 5 to 7 days is made after 2 weeks. Therapy is then continued.
    Important note: in case of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, these preparations should be taken in consultation with a doctor.
