9 masks to protect the skin from wind, moisture and cold

  1. A simple face mask exposed to the wind: Pour 2 tablespoons of oatmeal with a third of a cup of hot milk. Then apply the mask for 15-20 minutes and hold for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
  2. Mix equal parts apple juice, oatmeal and milk fat. put the mask on your face and hold for half an hour. Rinse with warm water.
  3. Honey mask is great for dry lips. Mix in equal parts vegetable oil and liquid honey. Put on your lips overnight. In case of allergy to honey, use only edible vegetable oil. Adding vitamin E to the oil will enhance the effect of the lip mask.
  4. Aloe juice is a great remedy for lips exposed to strong winds. The lips will not be rough after a day of application.
  5. Vegetable oil for cracked hand skin. Any vegetable oil (olive oil, sunflower oil, canolino, peach oil) after the first night of use reduces redness and inflammatory processes of the skin. Heat the oil on steam. Apply this oil to clean and dry hand skin. Wipe off excess grease with a tissue. Pick up the remaining oil on the skin with gentle massage movements.
  6. Mashed potatoes. Add sour cream, sunflower oil and egg yolks to the warm mashed potatoes in their shells. Apply the mixture on your hands. Hold for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with soap-free water. Wipe off any residue with a tissue. Grease your hands with greasy cream.
  7. Grass hand baths. Tincture of chamomile, calendula, bokvica, sage or St. John’s wort (prepared in a thermos bottle) will soothe the skin on the hands. Make a strong liquid from two to three species of these plants. Dip your hands for 15 minutes. Wipe the skin carefully with a towel. Lubricate with any oil. Wipe off the excess with a soft towel.
  8. Glycerin and vitamins. Pour one tablespoon of glycerin into a glass jar and add five drops of vitamin E (or squeeze a capsule with this vitamin). Rub into skin daily before bed.
  9. Masks with paraffin. Melt medical paraffin on water vapor. Add a few drops of vegetable oil or aloe juice. Apply a layer of 7 millimeters on your hands with a brush. Cover with a terry towel. Hold the mask for 15 minutes. Then apply cream to your hands. Do this treatment twice a week overnight. The skin of the hands will be velvety and healthy.
