Water intake should be accompanied by optimal salt intake and regular exercise


It is known that 70% of the human body is water, so it is not surprising that most diseases are associated with dehydration (type 2 diabetes, bronchial asthma, osteoarthritis, sclerosis of blood vessels). There is a formula according to which each person should drink 30 ml of water per kilogram of body weight per day. If a person is not used to this amount of water, they should start with smaller doses that will increase over time. Complete elimination of salt from the body can negatively affect health. You can use sea salt and pink Himalayan salt instead of plain salt. These are natural minerals whose intake does not cause the body to swell and which do not disrupt the metabolism of minerals in the body. They help balance the ratio of sodium and potassium ions, thus maintaining normal blood pressure. This duo is called a “sodium-potassium pump” in biochemistry, which allows cells to get enough water. Sodium-potassium does not combine, which means that the pump protects the skin and mucous membranes from dryness and the joints from destruction.
When the organism has a lack of water or there is not enough water that reaches all the cells, then the cell begins to draw extracellular water into itself. This is the first stage of dehydration. This process is the cause of swelling. With further lack of water, the body increases the osmotic pressure in order to increase the flow of water into the cells. This condition causes hypertension. If your body weight suddenly rises, it is possible to eat a lot of salt – so you should drink more water.
Tips for hydrating the body
Urine is a clear indicator of the purity of organs, kidneys and liver. Normal urine is light in color and odorless. Although some foods can stain urine (beets) or give urine a smell (asparagus).

  1. It is recommended to refresh yourself with green or herbal tea with a little honey in the morning before going to the toilet. Then some activity is desirable and then breakfast. The procedure should be repeated in the evening.
  2. One of the ways to hydrate the body is a shower, sauna and swimming pool. The skin also drinks water. It is recommended to perform these procedures after training because the skin is then more active for breathing and drinking.
  3. Even when you drink enough water, the cells will not be well cleaned if the muscles do not “roll and pump” water while washing the body. The cellular mechanism of feeding and cleansing is activated only during adequate physical effort.
