Dry nose is an unpleasant symptom. Dry nose makes the process of cleaning the air we breathe more difficult – dust particles, viruses and bacteria are harder to retain. By penetrating the respiratory organs, these particles can provoke allergic rhinitis and even thyroid function. Therefore, regularly moisten the nasal mucosa.

  1. Humidification of the nose from the outside and inside – the optimal humidity in the room should be around 70%. Apply humidifiers or put wet towels on the radiators. Drink 2 liters of water a day. In case of physical exertion, infection and high temperature, drink more than 2 liters of water a day. To soften the dryness of the inside of the nose, use special nasal sprays with hyaluronic acid, panthenol and glycerin. You can use nasal sprays with sea water, physiological sodium chloride solution or cosmetic Vaseline. In the absence of these sprays, you can put plain water in the spray bottle and thus spray the inside of the nose.
  2. Phytotherapy-inhalation with chamomile or calendula liquid softens swelling in the nose, removes inflammatory processes. Pour two to three tablespoons of dry raw material with a liter of boiling water. Hold on steam for 10 minutes. Let stand for 30 minutes. Strain. Before going to bed, breathe over the warm liquid for ten minutes. You can dip a piece of cotton cloth or cotton swabs in this liquid and put them in your nose for ten minutes. Aloe juice has an anti-inflammatory effect and has a healing effect. Apply aloe juice to the inside of the nose overnight. Many oils (olive, grape seed oil, rosehip oil and even sunflower oil) are suitable for nasal lubrication. You can put one to two tablespoons of one of these oils a day in each nasal cavity. Perform the procedure until the condition improves. Make homemade onion drops. A small finely chopped onion topped with 50 ml of boiling water. Add a tablespoon of honey. Twice a day, drip one to two drops of this healing liquid into your nose.
