Herbalists advise how to protect and strengthen the heart with herbs and herbal blends
Herbs that strengthen the heart are hawthorn, mistletoe, Valerian, lemon, garlic, Ruta graveolens, rosemary, hops and lavender. Tinctures and teas help the heart. Never drink tea all at once but in small sips. For all teas with hawthorn, you should take a break of 7 days after 3 weeks of use (daily drinking tea) of tea / tincture.

Black tea reduces the risk of heart disease – based on current recommendations of the European Society of Cardiology and the European Diabetes Association, there is insufficient evidence to recommend routine use of herbal preparations and plants to protect the heart. However, there are studies that indicate the potential benefits of using teas. Back in 2009, after a series of studies, Dutch scientists found that consuming 3 cups of black tea a day reduces the risk of developing diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases. This effect is due to the action of polyphenols from tea. Tea polyphenols are thought to have antioxidant properties and enhance insulin sensitivity. This effect is lost further when milk is added to the tea.
  2. Herbs that strengthen the heart are hawthorn, mistletoe, valerian, lemon, garlic, Ruta graveolens, rosemary, hops and lavender. Tinctures and teas help the heart. Tea for heart disease and heart strengthening: 2 tablespoons chopped valerian and 4 dcl of cold water. Pour cold water over the valerian. Leave overnight. In the morning, heat the tea to boiling. Let the tea boil for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the tea to cool in a covered pot. Strain iced tea. Drink one cup of tea several times during the day. Never drink tea all at once but in small sips.
  3. Tea blends strengthen the heart. Make a tea mixture of 50 grams of hawthorn, 50 grams of lemon balm, 50 grams of dandelion leaves and 50 grams of oat straw. Pour a tablespoon of the mixture with half a liter of boiling water. Leave the tea covered for 20 minutes to cool. Strain. Drink one cup of tea before meals. The second mixture is 50 grams of lemon balm, 50 grams of rosemary, 50 grams of hawthorn, 50 grams of mistletoe, 50 grams of varnish grass. Pour one tablespoon of the tea mixture with half a liter of boiling water. Leave the tea covered for 20 minutes to cool. Strain. Drink on an empty stomach or before meals.
  4. Plants that protect blood vessels. For tea against clogging of blood vessels: 30 grams of yarrow grass, 30 grams of hawthorn flower, 20 grams of hawthorn fruit, 20 grams of pear mistletoe leaves, 10 grams of arnica and 10 grams of cumin fruit. Pour one tablespoon of the mixture with 2 decilitres of cold water. Let the tea boil briefly. Cool the tea, strain it and drink it in small sips. Drink tea twice a day. Heart-strengthening tea: equal amounts of lemon balm leaves, selenium root, mistletoe leaves from pear and sea buckthorn fruit. Pour one tablespoon of the mixture with 600 ml of boiling water. Leave for 2 hours. Strain Drink tea three times a day in a dose of 200 ml of tea. Tea against atherosclerosis and high blood pressure. It takes 25 grams of pear mistletoe leaves, 25 grams of hawthorn flower, 25 grams of hawthorn fruit, 25 grams of lemon balm leaves. Pour two tablespoons of the mixture with 400 ml of cold water. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Leave for an hour for the tea to cool. Strain. Drink one cup of tea in the morning and evening. For all teas with hawthorn should take a break of 7 days after 3 weeks of use (daily drinking tea) tea / tincture.
