Turmeric, mineral water and pine pollen


Type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent diabetes) and type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent) are commonly considered to be the cause of high blood sugar. Other factors can also cause a disorder of carbohydrate metabolism in the body (life with little exercise, stress, hormone disorder, excessive alcohol use and improper use of simple carbohydrates). Prolonged excess of glucose levels worsens the microcirculation of blood along the smallest blood vessels. This over time leads to improper functioning of important organs in the body. The so-called bad cholesterol creates atherosclerotic plaques by depositing them on the walls of blood vessels. They can lead to life-threatening clogging of the arteries.

  1. The use of mineral water has a beneficial effect on the development of type 2 diabetes. Mineral water improves carbohydrate metabolism, activates insulin receptors and lowers blood glucose levels due to the content of calcium, potassium and magnesium salts. Half a glass of approximately mineral water or 100 ml three times a day before meals is most effective. With reduced acidity, gastric juice is drunk 15 minutes before meals. With increased acidity, drink 40 minutes before meals. For patients with diabetes 2, mineral water with sodium bicarbonate, calcium-magnesium hydrocarbonate and water with silicic acid content are recommended. These waters are used for the prevention and treatment of diseases of the digestive system and metabolic disorders. For patients with diabetes 1, only an endocrinologist can make recommendations. Mineral water is not a substitute for medicines or doctor’s recommendations. It only helps for a diet with a reduced content of a product rich in sugar or starch. Vegetable juices (carrots, potatoes, beets) are useful for patients with diabetes 2. One glass per day is maximum.
  2. The method of treatment with pine pollen is widespread, including diabetes. 2. Pine pollen is rich in biologically active substances. These substances contribute to maintaining immunity, strengthening bone tissues, reducing inflammatory processes and activating all body functions. Pine pollen improves all types of metabolism between tissues. Diabetes is impossible to cure. But it is possible to keep the body strong and healthy. One quarter to half a spoon 2-3 times a day is considered a dose to strengthen the body. It is used in the morning before a meal and other doses are used 30 minutes before a meal. Therapy lasts 3-4 weeks. Pollen is a strong stimulator and contraindications are possible (individual intolerance, reduced blood coagulation, acute and chronic kidney disease, renal failure, pregnancy and breastfeeding, age up to 6 years, tendency to develop neoplasms). Pine pollen is sold in health food stores.
  3. Turmeric keeps cholesterol under control and helps with diabetes 2. Ayurvedic medicine recommends turmeric. Turmeric is especially useful in the first stage of the disease. Turmeric is an anti-bacterial agent that cleanses the blood, regulates metabolism, and has a beneficial effect on the intestinal micro-flora. This spice has a beneficial effect on immunity. And it is a good spice for diabetes prevention, especially when a person has constantly high glucose levels and there is no diagnosis. Natural turmeric powder is the best choice. Take a spoonful of aloe juice powder twice a day. You can dissolve the same amount of spices in a glass of water and drink. It is useful to add turmeric to herbal teas that are not hot, natural juices and green cocktails. However, one should not overdo it with turmeric, one should be especially careful in case of problems with the intestines and gallstones.
