That resulted in her death. The novel deals with the theme of two marriages. Ana’s marriage ends sadly and Levin’s marriage which, despite the usual stressful situations and quarrels, ends well. The first sentence of the book often quoted is: “All happy families are like each other, every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”

It is an unforgettable creation of mesmerizing scenes and exciting characters, so alive that we remember their words all our lives and feel their fears and longings. The two main characters are Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler. American writer Margaret Mitchell summed up the timeless story of survival in the most difficult conditions. She created two of the most famous lovers after Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
The Great Gatsby (by Francis Scot Fitzgerald) – is a novel by the American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald published in 1925. The central figure of the novel is Jay Gatsby. Gatsby is a mysterious young rich man tormented by love problems. The story is told from the perspective of Nick Carraway, his friend. The plot of the novel is set in the so-called crazy twenties of the last century. This post-war period of American society was marked by prohibition, general decadence, and the flourishing of organized crime and illegal business.
