Popular essential oils that solve headaches (mint, lemon and lavender)

Headache can have different manifestations that vary from person to person (feeling of pulsation, tingling, squeezing or sharp pain). In ancient Egypt, says Herodotus, there were priests who treated only headaches. Today, 4% of the world’s population suffers from headaches, according to data from the World Health Organization (WHO). Sometimes headaches last over 15 days. The causes can be frequent and sudden changes in weather and atmospheric pressure, a high degree of stress, problems with posture, hormonal imbalance, circulation in the neck, allergies to certain foods. The headache is accompanied by other symptoms (nausea, vomiting, weakness, pain in the eye area, nasal congestion). The cause should be examined and then the cause treated.

Help for headaches
Relieving pain and creating a better feeling is achieved by inhalation and application of essential oils on the temples and neck. You can also mix these 3 essential oils in equal proportions and dilute with the base oil. Add 4 drops of the mixture to 10 ml. You can always keep a small bottle like this in your bag / backpack. At the first symptoms of nausea and headache, massage your neck or head with this mixture. Or pour in water, wet a cotton cloth and put as a compress. In a small roll-on bottle you can also mix essential and basic oils in a ratio of 1: 1. Then put the mixture only on the pulse points or a small area on the body.
