
Recipe for a refreshing and healing drink “boza”
In the evening, soak ½ kg of unsifted corn flour in an enamel bowl in 10 liters of warm water. The next day, cook the drink at a low temperature for about 2 hours. Stir the drink from time to time with a wooden spoon. Then leave to cool. Cover. In the evening, stir a piece of yeast in warm water. Get into the potion. Stir. Cover with a thin cloth. Leave the drink overnight. Strain through an aunt sieve (not metal) in the morning. Sweeten with honey to taste. Put in the freezer. This drink sours quickly, so it is advisable to use the drink in its entirety on the same day.

Uveče namočite ½ kg neprosijanog kukuruznog brašna u emajliranu posudu u 10 litara tople vode. Sutradan napitak kuhajte na laganoj temperaturi oko 2 sata. S vremena na vrijeme promješajte napitak drvenom kutlačom. Onda ostavite da se ohladi. Poklopite. Uveče razmutite komad kvasca u toploj vodi. Uspite u napitak. Promješajte. Porkijte rijetkim platnom. Ostavite napitak da prenoći. Ujutro procijedite kroz rešeto od strine (ne metalno). Zasladite s medom prema ukusu. Stavite u zamrzivač. Ovaj napitak brzo prokisne pa je poželjno iskoristiti napitak u cjelosti istog dana.
