These preparations are completely safe without side effects and are not addictive.
Medicinal willow-this tree grows mainly in temperate climates of Europe, Asia and North America. Bark has a wide application (wood industry, furniture industry, matchmaking, etc.). Because of the flexibility and lightness of the wood. The bark is extremely healing with analgesic effect, so it was used in ancient civilizations (Egyptian and Greek). In the 19th century, people learned more about the chemical composition of white willow. Then the active component was isolated from the bark (ingredient salicin). Salicin is important because salicylic acid, a precursor of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), is extracted from this component. If white willow is properly dosed and used it can be almost as effective as aspirin. The bark has a strong anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic and antispasmodic effect. The bark is effective against menstrual cramps in women. It is used against headaches because it contains immunostimulatory components. It has a beneficial effect against fever, chills and flu. It has a positive effect on health and skin because it stimulates blood circulation, nourishes and regenerates the skin. As a result, all skin imperfections, scars, wrinkles and age spots disappear.
In phytotherapy, the bark peeled in the spring months from a tree about 3 years old is mainly used. Teas, tinctures, herbal mixtures and similar preparations are prepared from this bark. The effect is further enhanced if the bark is combined with other herbs and spices with anti-inflammatory effect (turmeric and ginger) and preparations (apple cider vinegar and honey).
