Natural elixir with sage, honey, vinegar and ginger
This natural elixir is delicious, extremely effective and easy to prepare.
Apple cider vinegar is rich in valuable polyphenols that preserve health. Apple cider vinegar suppresses harmful bacteria, regulates blood sugar levels, solves the damage that free radicals (oxidative stress) do to cells and lowers blood pressure. It is recommended to use organic apple cider vinegar.
There is a lot of counterfeiting on the honey market. That is why you should choose quality homemade honey from proven producers. Honey is one of the important ingredients of this elixir.
Sage has another name “queen of medicinal herbs”. Soothes inflammatory processes. It calms nervousness and strengthens immunity. It is advisable to use fresh sage for this elixir. But a dried plant will also be useful. Sage growing in coastal areas is the most medicinal.
Ginger-it is desirable to use this precious food frequently.
The elixir can be used in the morning. Add a small spoonful of the elixir to a glass of warm water (half an hour before breakfast). It strengthens the whole body, strengthens circulation and is a good way to wake up in the morning. The elixir can be useful in marinades for meat and vegetables. Or as a salad dressing. Put one small spoon of this medicinal mixture in a cup of hot tea (not hot tea).
Put 1/3 cup of honey, 2/3 cup of organic apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons of grated fresh ginger and 2 tablespoons of finely chopped sage in a sterilized glass jar. Close the jar with a plastic lid. Then shake the jar well. Leave in a cool, dark place for 4 weeks. Shake the jar every day. Squeeze the liquid through a cotton swab. Pour the liquid into a plastic bottle. Keep the bottle in the refrigerator.
