7 simple recipes with tea for face and body care
Tea has long been used for beauty, skin rejuvenation, hair care and coloring, and aromatic baths. For example, lotion with red hibiscus tea and chamomile tea gently cleanses the skin and achieves hydration of dry skin. One or two tablespoons of olive oil for dry and sensitive facial skin can be added to the facial cleansing mixture with tea. For shiny hair, always add brewed tea to the rinsing water. Dilute natural henna powder for hair coloring with tea, which improves the color and the result of coloring.

  1. Lotion with tea against oily skin of the face with enlarged pores – bring about 100 milliliters of mineral water to the boiling point. Pour one to two tablespoons of green tea and let it boil again. Cover with gauze and allow the drink to cool. Strain. Add 5 to 6 drops of lemon juice. Rub your face in the morning and in the evening with this lotion. Keep the lotion in the refrigerator. The lotion can be frozen into ice cubes which will also rub the skin.
  2. Lotion with green tea and nettle – put one tablespoon of coarse green tea leaves and one tablespoon of dried nettle in a cup of boiling water. Allow the mixture to cool. Strain. Add one tablespoon of medical alcohol from the pharmacy. Stir. Rub the skin of the face several times a day with this lotion, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. Keep refrigerated in a closed container.
  3. Bath with tea for tired eyes – put one bag of green or black tea in one cup of boiling water … a pinch of dried chamomile and parsley can be added for a stronger effect. Pour hot tea into a plastic cup and lean it against your eye by tilting your head over the cup. Close and open one eye several times in this liquid, making circular parquets with the eyeball. Repeat with the other eye. Or use two plastic cups at the same time.
  4. Compresses with tea have a calming and anti-inflammatory effect. Soak cosmetic swabs in hot tea. Put on closed eyes and hold for one to two minutes. Repeat the procedure several times. Then apply a cold compress with tea. Dry the skin. Apply a greasy cream on your face.
  5. Chilled tea removes puffiness of the eyes – after drinking tea, put tea bags in the freezer overnight. In the morning, take out the tea and keep it closed for about 15 minutes. The face will be fresher while the swelling of the eyes will be visibly reduced.
  6. Black or green tea for velvety and matte skin – dry and grind the raw material left over after making tea. Keep the powder in a glass jar. Clean the skin first with a steam face bath. Pour boiling water with tea into a bowl. Tilt your head over the bowl, covering your head with a towel. For dry facial skin, it is enough to hold the face over steam for 5 to 7 minutes, for oily skin about 15 minutes and ten minutes for normal skin. In another bowl, mix the dried and ground tea powder with the soap suds. It is best to use a neutral and mild shaving foam. Apply a small amount of the mixture on the face. Massage the skin with circular movements, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. Rinse your face with warm and then cold water. Put on some moisturizer.
  7. Ice cubes with herbs and tea for a youthful appearance of the skin – in the evening before going to bed, rub your face with an ice cube of herbal liquids. The skin will be fresh and supple. Make herbal liquid from fresh herbs. Tea with the addition of lemon or milk can also be used. Black tea gives a nicer look to skin tone. Green tea rejuvenates facial skin. Pieces of ice with boiled green tea and mint tea give a positive effect against tired eyes and swollen eyelids. In the morning, gently rub the skin under the eyes with these pieces of ice from the outer corner to the inner corner.
