The first jeans were made of hemp

Paper made from hemp

The American Declaration of Independence of 1776 has been preserved to this day because it was printed on indestructible hemp paper. Hemp paper does not turn yellow over time and does not contain any acids.
Composition and harvesting of hemp

The fuel was made from hemp

Today, hemp oil could be used to produce fuel for diesel engines. Hemp oil is renewable (unlike fossil fuels) and produces less toxic gases that pollute the planet Earth (80% less than carbon dioxide emissions and almost 100% less than sulfur dioxide). Plastic made from hemp is two and a half times harder and stronger than plastic made from polypropylene. It will not wear out in places fastened with screws and no mold will appear (as with fiberglass). It is not a danger to safety and health. Its components can be recycled. Over 80% of the total weight of one plant can be used. That is why hemp is important for the production of durable products.
Houses and building materials are made of hemp
Hemp-based materials can replace wood and other materials used to make houses and other buildings (including foundations, walls, roofs, formwork, pipes and paints).
