10 types of fruits and vegetables that contain the least pesticides
Growers spray fruits and vegetables out of necessity (to protect against insects and fungi) although this has long-term consequences for human health. There are some foods that contain the least pesticides, says the American Environmental Association (EWG).

  1. Fungi grow from the soil and do not contain harmful substances. Mushrooms should be washed well before use to clean dust and excess soil.
  2. Cauliflower is an extremely pure food. Cauliflower is an excellent source of fiber that solves obesity.
  3. Kiwi is a fruit that contains very few pesticides. Kiwi peel is full of fiber. Wash the kiwi well if you eat this fruit with the peel.
  4. Cabbage is an interesting vegetable because cabbage produces components that repel insects. Growers should not use pesticides to protect cabbage from insects and pests.
  5. Broccoli is a vegetable that repels insects on its own. Broccoli is a good snack and the main ingredient of soup.
  6. Asparagus – contains enzymes that break down pesticides (which serve to defend against insects). Asparagus therefore contains very little pesticide.
  7. Peas-is a pure food because the outer membrane is cleaned.
  8. Eggplant is also a healthy food with very few pesticides.
  9. Onion-grows in soil so it contains little pesticides.
  10. Avocado has a protective layer that prevents the penetration of pesticides into the interior.
