Yogurt solves obesity because calcium (especially from dairy products) slows down the metabolic processes of fat creation and deposition in the body.
Depression and obesity are the most common diseases in the world today. These disorders are very common and often go together.
People try to solve obesity using various methods. One of the popular ways is dieting (avoiding intake of large amounts of food and thus calories in the body). The latest research says that with a dietary diet you should not give up dairy products. Dairy products can also help in losing extra pounds. The purpose of the research is to prove the unfoundedness of giving up dairy products during the use of dietary nutrition. Calcium is important for the optimal maintenance of bone tissue and muscles. Calcium slows down the formation and deposition of new fats in the body. In this research, 34 people who used a low-calorie diet were observed. A total of 16 research participants used calcium preparations (in the amount of approximately half a gram per day). The remaining research participants were supposed to drink the amount of yogurt to provide 1,000 mg of calcium per day.
All participants lost a certain amount of fat deposits after 12 weeks of observation. The control group that took calcium preparations lost 3 kg on average, while the yogurt group lost 10 kg. People who drank yogurt did not look the same as participants from the group who did not. Those with yogurt reduced their waist circumference by 4 cm. People from the control group lost only half a centimeter. It was shown that 60% of body weight loss was due to fat in the stomach area (in people who drank yogurt), while this percentage in the control group was only 26%. Dietary nutrition with yogurt showed another advantage – fat was lost, but not muscle mass, which is very important.
Muscles are a key factor in calorie consumption during physical activity. This function can be compromised if unwanted loss of muscle mass occurs.
This research has shown that calcium (especially from dairy products) slows down the metabolic processes of fat formation and deposition in the body. That is why experts advise people on a diet to eat fat-free or low-fat dairy products 3 times a day (in 3 meals).
Nice informatoions.
