Stone fruits must be included in the menu after the age of 50
Walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews are great snacks for both children and adults. A handful of these healthy snacks a day is recommended. Nutritionists also point out that cashew, for example, prevents the reproduction of free radicals (which cause premature aging and the development of malignant diseases). Cashew is rich in vitamins A, B2 and B1, iron, selenium, palmtoleic acid, amino acid tryptophan and useful proteins and minerals.
Regular consumption of cashew nuts is associated with reduced blood pressure. Cashew strengthens the value of upper and lower blood pressure but reduces the level of triglycerides – from studies published in the journal Current Developments in Nutrition.
A daily cashew nut can lower blood cholesterol (instead of a high-carb snack). From 60 to 100 grams of cashews per week (or 5 to 8 fruits per day) is enough to get the health benefits of this nutritious and tasty snack.
Cashews contain unsaturated fatty acids that have a beneficial effect on blood sugar levels. It contributes to lowering the level of triglycerides in the blood. It protects the body from further complications associated with high levels of blood sugar and cholesterol. The risk of type 2 diabetes is also reduced with daily consumption of cashews.
Nutrition slows down the aging of the body. The food we eat is reflected on our face. Doctors therefore advise people to include stone fruits in their daily menu (for women during the break from the menstrual cycle, it normalizes problems with insomnia, and keeps the skin youthful).
