Carrots, honey and sea buckthorn oil are excellent aids during autumn
The skin on the face (especially on the lips) is much thinner compared to other parts of the body. The reason is that the skin in these places does not have protective subcutaneous fat cells. That is why these parts of the body (face and lips) suffer the most in the summer due to the sun and dehydration. The skin cracks and begins to peel. This problem will be solved during the summer by proper nutrition and plenty of water (instead of copious juices, coffee and tea). In the summer, you can spray your face with water while staying in the shade. The cause of this phenomenon can also be a lack of vitamins and minerals (vitamin A, group B, iron and zinc). Let the diet be balanced. If you don’t eat meat in the summer, then take fermented milk products, legumes, sunflower seeds, nuts and seafood.
- Homemade mask against chapped lips – mix one spoonful of honey and one spoonful of sea buckthorn oil. Apply to the lips in a thin layer. Hold for 20 minutes, then you can lick your lips or remove the mask from your lips. It perfectly heals cracks on the lips and solves the problem of skin peeling on the lips.
- Mask against flaking of mature facial skin – mix one spoonful of cucumber juice, one spoonful of cow’s cheese, one spoonful of olive oil, one spoonful of honey and egg yolk. Keep the mask on your face for 15 minutes. Rinse with water.
- Mask for dry facial skin – mix one finely grated carrot, 2 spoons of potato starch and one egg yolk. Keep the mask on your face for 20 minutes. Remove with tissue. Lightly spray your face with water.
