Cauliflower contains substances that prevent the development of diabetes
Cauliflower is the new superfood. This vegetable is simple, cheap and easy to prepare everyday meals. Cauliflower is rich in ingredients that prevent the development of diabetes. Cauliflower is a cabbage vegetable with few calories (only a third of the total amount that potatoes contain). It has a lot of vitamin C, which strengthens the body.

The glycemic composition is low, which means that natural sugars are released slowly and do not lead to sudden spikes in blood glucose. Cauliflower is rich in fiber that prolongs the feeling of satiety and improves digestion. It contains phytonutrients that are good for detoxifying the body. It contains antioxidants (the best allies in the fight against harmful free radicals).
Cauliflower steaks – cut the cauliflower into 2 cm thick steaks. Fry each steak for 2 minutes on both sides until it darkens. Then put the steaks in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes. Fry the crushed garlic, add lemon juice, capers and chopped parsley. Pour the sauce over the steak.
Couscous – wash and dry half a jar of chickpeas. Drizzle with olive oil, chili powder and cumin. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees C. Place half of the cauliflower in a blender and chop until it looks like couscous. Then mix the cauliflower with a mixture of chickpeas and oil, chopped herbs and lemon juice.
Cook the creamy mashed cauliflower for 5 to 10 minutes until soft. Strain. Add butter, mustard, chives and black pepper.
Dough for pizza – Chop half of the cauliflower in a blender and heat for 5 minutes in the microwave. Wrap in a towel. Squeeze out the rest of the water. Mix with one egg, parmesan and a pinch of oregano. Spread evenly in the pan to get a 23 cm diameter base. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees C. Spread the pizza base with tomato puree. Add accessories as desired. Bake for 5 minutes.
