Plants with an intense smell are very useful if the medicine is not close
When medicine and pills are not near you, then aromatic preparations and plants with an intense smell can be a very useful substitute. https://mountainroseherbs.com/lavender-essential-oil

  1. Fatigue – soothing scents affect the level of nervous-psychic tension. Therefore, in conditions of reduced dynamics and monotony, they help the body to reach optimal working capacity. If the person has not reached it yet and the therapy continues – then the stimulating smell can cause excessive nervous and mental tension. However, smells can “raise” a person if he has no will, strength, and has headaches and muscle pain. Rub fresh lemon peel. Inhale the scent for a few minutes.
  2. Depression-black pepper will immediately improve a person’s condition if you place a handful of pepper on a hot work surface from the stove. The aroma of black pepper is an excellent remedy against lethargy and apathy. It is an effective mixture in “moments of crisis” with salt. In a small glass bottle with a wide diameter, put 2 spoons of table salt and half a spoon of clean fine river sand (or sea sand). Add 5 drops of lavender essential oil and 2 drops of lemon and bergamot essential oil. Close and shake. Breathe in as needed and you will immediately feel calm.
  3. Irritability – in the modern world it is difficult to remain calm and composed. Make a simple mixture of aromatic herbs: In a small glass bottle with a wide diameter, put 1 tablespoon of coarse salt and one tablespoon of clean fine river sand (or sea sand). Add 2 drops of essential oil of lemon balm and one drop of lavender and chamomile oil. Close and shake. Breathe in as needed and you will immediately feel calm.
  4. Headache – put chopped and dried thyme in a glass jar or bottle. Inhale as needed. Breathe in the essential oil of mint from both nostrils. The aroma of mint oil has the main component of menthol (which normalizes brain circulation and has a spasmolytic effect on brain blood vessels). However, preparations with mint must not be used without control (because strong inhalation and a high concentration of the aromatic substance can provoke spasm of the bronchi and breathing disorder and even stop breathing).
  5. For diseases of the bile, fresh lime peel can be inhaled. When inhaling some essential oils, the effect is achieved due to the aroma and the penetration of biologically active substances into the body.
  6. Tachycardia – put a few drops of lavender oil on a piece of gauze or cotton wool. Inhale for up to 5 minutes. 10 drops of lavender oil can be added to the bath, which will calm the rapid heartbeat. Lavender oil normalizes the rhythm of the heart, has an analgesic effect (soothes pain) and solves excessive fatigue.
  7. For traveling, it is good to have a small jar with essential oil mixtures. Dip a piece of cotton wool into a mixture of essential oils, 5 drops of mint, 4 drops of marjoram, 4 drops of lemon and 3 drops of rosemary. Then put that piece of cloth or cotton in a glass bottle with a cap. Inhale this fragrance from time to time to reduce the unpleasant feeling caused by the change in climatic conditions.
  8. Citrus oils (especially bergamot oil) and St. John’s Wort oil have high phototoxicity. That is why these oils are not recommended for use before sun exposure (because they can cause dyspigmentation and even sunburn on the skin).
