Hyacinth is easiest to force to bloom in the middle of the winter months
During the autumn months, “plant residues” are taken from too many summer flowers that have bloomed. The surface is excavated with garden ash, enriched with fertilizer, and then plant remains (bulbs) are planted. The second half of October is ideal for this work. Special attention should be paid to the selection of bulbous species (and numerous varieties) to create a spring flower scheme according to your own wishes. Design the flower garden carefully so that tall plants do not obscure low plants and that part of the garden (or terrace) offers beautiful flowers from the first days of spring to late spring (and the beginning of summer).
You can choose from many types of flowers and plants (saffrons, daffodils, daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, muskrats, anemones, etc.). Spring bulbous flowers bring color and joy to the terrace (if the seeds are planted in mid-autumn in larger pots).
Growing bulbous plants in pots is very simple
Bulbs are mostly sold in transparent or mesh bags, so they can be easily inspected. Buy hard bulbs without mold and other damage. A soft bulb is a sign of the beginning of rotting.
The optimal distance between plants is written on the packaging (if you buy seeds in garden centers, nurseries or supermarkets). If this is not the case, then there is a golden rule to plant in a width of 3 bulbs. If you want dense flowers, then place the bulbs closer to each other. They should not be placed next to each other because there is a risk of rotting. This also applies to growing in pots when they need to be moved away from the ends of the pot. This is how the required number of bulbs for a certain area is calculated.
It is important that you make a large enough group of each type of seed (that you buy) to show the beauty. Shorter species and cultivars should be planted near the ends of beds or planters, and taller ones further away from the path or towards the wall. The ideal planting depth is usually written on the package. It is good to know the rule that it is generally optimal for the planting depth to be 3 dimensions of the bulbs (so that above it there is land at the height of 2 bulbs).
A large bulb about 5 cm high should be buried 15 cm deep (to leave 10 cm above the bulb). A 2 cm bulb should be planted at a depth of 6 cm and so on.
Placed bulbs should be filled with soft soil that should not be pressed down too much. Bulbs saved from the previous season can be planted in the garden or on the balcony. These bulbs will be vital if they are properly pruned and will produce beautiful flowers just like the bulbs already purchased.

Blooming flowers during the winter period
In the warmth of the home, there can be an announcement of the “awakening” of spring (if you plant forced spring flower bulbs in time), even though spring has not yet arrived according to the calendar. On the windowsill you can have a beautiful colorful garden that brings joy and warmth during the gloomy winter months.
Master the art of forcing bulbs and plant them in appropriate pots
1.So in the spring you will have a beautiful garden with colorful flowers. The bulbs should be kept at a lower temperature and in the dark (to create artificial winter conditions) to encourage the plants to bloom in room conditions even though it is winter.

2.Temperatures should be low but not minus because they would cause tissue freezing. The caused changes will be interpreted by the bulbs as a change of season. Plant the bulbs in a pot with quality soil. Place a thick layer of drainage on the bottom of the pot (to make it suitable for draining).

3.Bulbs need little land because they are fantastic reproductive organs – according to botanists. Each of them is a real little storehouse of nutrients and contains everything necessary for the plant to grow and produce flowers. The soil (in which the bulbs are planted) has the purpose of regeneration so that the fleshy root produces the next generation of bulbs. That is why it is important that the soil (in which they are grown) is soft, loose and does not retain water. It is useful to add some sand to the soil for better drainage.
4.Then take the pot to the terrace where it should spend at least 4 weeks at low temperatures. After that, bring the pot back into a closed room in a warmer and brighter place, but away from the heat source.

5.From that moment on, the bulbs will start developing stems, then leaves, and soon flowers will appear (as if it were spring). The soil should always be moist, so the plants should be watered regularly during growth and flowering.
6. Hyacinth is one of the plants that is easiest to force to bloom in the middle of winter
If you plant the hyacinth at the end of October (or the beginning of November) and put it in a warm place after 4 weeks, then you will have hyacinths with flowers already around the New Year. Crocus, saffron, narcissus and tulips can be successfully forced to bloom indoors during the winter.
