Chocolate drink with spices for a restful sleep
It is not advisable to drink coffee in the afternoon – all people who suffer from insomnia know this. Neither green nor black tea is desirable because all these drinks contain significant doses of caffeine.
A good choice is hot chocolate with sleep-inducing spices
It is necessary:
- one spoonful of cocoa powder
- a pinch of nutmeg
- a cup of milk
.a quarter of a spoonful of ground dry lemon balm
- half a spoon of Ceylon cinnamon
- a little stevia according to wishes
Preparation: pour the milk into the pot. Add cocoa powder, cinnamon, lemon balm and nutmeg. Heat over medium heat until the contents boil. Stir constantly. Remove from the heat and pour the hot chocolate into a cup. Add stevia and drink a warm drink.
Dry lemon balm leaves can be ground in a blender or electric coffee grinder. Keep in an airtight container. It is not advisable to grind large amounts at once, but only amounts sufficient for 2 to 3 days (ground teas and powder or powdered spices are hygroscopic, that is, they attract moisture, so they are stored in glass or porcelain containers with good closures. They can be placed in a bag or in a hollow stopper containers with a little anhydrous potassium chloride or other water absorbent).
