The flowering time of the plum is from April to May. Plum is very useful in nutrition due to the abundance of vitamins, minerals, natural sugars and plant fibers. Plum contributes to improving proper nutrition because it has a natural composition that is the most biologically acceptable forms that the human body accepts. The usefulness of plums is really great.
The laxative effect of plum has a great advantage, especially for the elderly population (due to lower mobility, insufficient physical activity and diet). Fresh and dried plum has always been used as a laxative in folk medicine.

- For better and normal functioning of the intestinal system, soak plums and figs in water overnight. - Anti-rapid heartbeat remedy – drink a glass of juice made from half a glass of plum juice, half a glass of banana juice and 0.25 dcl of lemon juice. Drink three times a day before meals for 3 to 4 months.
- To cleanse the liver and blood – soak 8 to 22 pieces of cleaned plums in cold water overnight. In the morning, drain the water and put it in new water and cook for 2 to 3 hours on low heat. - Plums are great against indigestion – soak a handful of washed plums and keep overnight. Drink juice and eat plums in the morning. An effective combination of plums and dried figs. For example, soak 5 dried figs and 5 dried plums and repeat the procedure. Drink juice in the morning and eat all fruits.
