6 natural solutions for maintaining well-groomed skin
Skin care is always important both before and after moderate sunbathing and with the use of protective creams. Skin care means avoiding flaking while keeping the skin nourished, hydrated and soft. Natural masks made from fruits and vegetables, unrefined oils, milk, yogurt are excellent in keeping the skin glowing and soft.
- Water – staying in water will cause slight dehydration of the skin. Be sure to drink water with lemon and without sugar. Shower your body with warm water, not hot water. Leave to dry without wiping with a towel.
- Aloia vera – apply aloe vera gel to wet skin after showering. Or mix green tea with gel and apply to the skin.
- Yogurt and milk – apply a thin layer of yogurt on clean skin if you feel skin tightness after sun exposure. Keep the yogurt for 15 minutes, then take a shower. You can also massage the skin with colder milk instead of yogurt. The sensation of heat will decrease. Milk proteins will nourish the skin.
- Gently massage the skin of the whole body with cucumber and banana-cucumber rings. Place the cucumber rings on your face around the eye area. Keep it for 20 minutes and then take a shower. A similar procedure can be done with banana rings.
- Carrot – apply chopped carrot on the face and décolleté. Hold for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water. Apply a nourishing cream.
- Unrefined oils – any unrefined oil is great for the skin. Apply olive (or almond, coconut or other oil). Wait for the skin to absorb the oil. Lily oil, St. John’s wort oil and calendula oil are very effective. The skin will be soft, fresh and smooth.
