Short description

The Royal Meteorological Society is looking for the best photographs from around the world that depict weather in its widest sense.

“ The competition showcases some of the world’s most striking weather and climate photography, providing an international platform to raise awareness about the environmental issues putting our planet at risk as well as depicting the beauty we need to protect.

Submissions are invited across three categories:

Weather Photographer of the Year
Young Weather Photographer of the Year
Weather Photographer of the Year – Mobile Phone category

Entries must have been taken between 27 June 2018 and 27 June 2023.

Entry fees
The competition is free to enter.

Prizes
• Weather Photographer of the Year – £5,000 cash for winner
• Young Weather Photographer of the Year – £750 cash for winner
• Mobile Phone Weather Photographer of the Year – £2,500 cash for winner
