5 natural “guardians” of the brain and solutions for better memory
Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive brain disease that leads to a gradual deterioration of the brain. This is manifested by changes in memory, thinking, functioning and behavior. The result of this disease is senility (or dementia). It most often appears after the age of 65, and the symptoms gradually worsen. At the same time, the symptoms significantly disrupt the life of the person and the lives of other close family members. Scientists have not yet determined the causes of the disease, and to date, no specific drug against Alzheimer’s disease has been found. However, recent research indicates that the first signs of the disease can be recognized 10 to 13 years before the first visible signs of dementia. With certain measures, it is possible to prevent the further progress of senility if the earliest symptoms of senility are recognized. Apitherapy, i.e. bees and bee products, but also medicinal plants can also help in this. The brain needs to be supplied with all the necessary nutrients to function normally. Foods rich in vitamins B and D as well as essential fatty acids have a particularly beneficial effect on the brain (fish and seeds).
