7 tips for proper hand washing and care after rough work

  1. Hands should be washed in warm water with a little liquid and mild soap. A little white crystalline powder can be added to the water (a natural mineral, i.e., a water-soluble salt of boric acid, the natural deposits of borax are in dried riverbeds and lakes).
  2. You can leave your hands in a soap and water solution for a few minutes and gently brush them with a rubber brush. It is also a great massage.
  3. Rinse your hands in cold water at the end of washing.
  4. Washing your hands often removes grease, so it’s good to apply a nourishing and moisturizing cream to your hands. Put on gloves and keep overnight.
  5. Homemade liquid for hands. Take equal parts of glycerin, alcohol and distilled water. Add a few drops of lemon juice. Pour some of the liquid into your palms and rub your hands. Then wipe your hands with soft paper.
  6. Periodically rub your hands and nails with lemon peel, which whitens, softens and cleans the skin.
  7. Homemade peeling for hands (especially useful after rough housework) – mash one boiled potato. Add a little glycerine and the juice of one lemon. You can keep the mixture in the fridge for several days.
  8. Use rubber gloves for all work (especially washing and scrubbing dishes). By regularly using gloves, it’s easy to get used to it, and you’ll do the job skillfully and quickly. Use old leather gloves for dry work. Sprinkle baby powder on the inside of the gloves to make it easier to put on the gloves.
  9. Onion smell from hands can be removed with coffee grounds. Then wash your hands with cold water.
  10. All hand stains are easily removed with a mixture of hydrogen and lemon juice.
  11. Bathe your hands once a week in warm almond or olive oil to keep your hands supple and fresh.
  12. The skin on your hands will be youthful if you soak your hands in salt water (100 grams of salt in one liter of water). Keep your hands in warm water for 20 minutes, constantly adding warm water.
  13. Gymnastics will preserve the flexibility and grace of the hands. Grab the left wrist with your right hand and let it slide along the left hand towards the fingers. Repeat the same with the other hand.
  14. Place the small ball between both palms. Cross the fingers of one hand with the fingers of the other hand. Press the ball with your palms as if you want to crush the ball.
  15. Pull your fingers together and then stretch them out. Repeat several times with both hands.
  16. Grab small objects with your thumb and middle finger. The hand line will be finer and more elegant.
  17. Flap your fists vigorously in the air forwards and backwards (bending the fists at the wrist). Hands will be flexible.
