5 essential oils for regulating female hormones and lack of sleep
Every person can have control over their own health. Lack of sleep or disruption of the natural circadian rhythm can occur as a result of a women’s hormonal imbalance (because human hormones work according to a schedule). There are medical and natural therapies, but also phytotherapy (essential oils) offers help in regulating this problem. In the evening before going to bed, drink a tea made from one spoonful of lemon balm and one spoonful of chamomile poured over a cup of boiling water. Repeat the procedure every night until sleep improves.

  1. Sage oil – clary sage helps balance estrogen levels (because it contains natural phytoestrogens). It is used to regulate the monthly cycle of women, relieve the symptoms of post-menstrual cycle of women, enhances fertility and treats polycystic ovary syndrome (it even reduces the possibility of ovarian and uterine cancer). It solves depression and anxiety. Mix a tablespoon of olive oil (or coconut oil) with 5 drops of clary sage. Use the resulting mixture to massage your stomach and breasts. Do not rinse, but leave the mixture on overnight.
  2. Fennel Oil- Heart health problems have been found to cause autoimmune reactions (including thyroid disorders). Fennel essential oil will relax the body, enhance digestion and improve gut health, speed up metabolism and reduce inflammation. Mix a tablespoon of olive oil and a few drops of fennel essential oil. With light circular movements and for a duration of about 10 minutes, massage part of the stomach and breasts. Repeat daily for 10 days.
  3. Lavender oil – insomnia is perhaps the most important factor that causes hormone imbalance. Lavender oil is an excellent choice for women suffering from insomnia. It solves anxiety, depression, low mood and stress. Apply a few drops to the neck, forehead and temples with light massaging movements. Add lavender oil to the bath.
  4. Sandalwood Oil-Sandalwood essential oil can be used for libido, eliminating stress, promoting relaxation, removing mental fog. The scent of the oil relieves tension and nervousness, eliminates stress (which can be the cause of hormonal imbalance). Inhale sandalwood directly from the bottle or mix a few drops with coconut oil and massage your joints and feet.
  5. Thyme oil – increases the production of progesterone (which helps to treat or alleviate health problems such as infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, polyps and fibroids, menopause, depression, hair loss and insomnia). Add a few drops of oil to your bath to naturally balance your hormones. You can mix the oil with a few drops of coconut oil and rub it into the lower part of the stomach.
